Connecting to your Email Server


This allows the system to send emails directly to your clients and suppliers via your email system instead of using system's one.

When sending out emails Quikflw will automatically uses the correct email account that matches the email address entered in the "From:" field in the quote or invoice, etc.

If no matching email address is found, then the default email account is used.

Setup

Select the cog at the top right of the Quikflw screen, then Integration Settings and then Setup Email Accounts.


Send your emails from Quikflw using your server

Office 365

Set up with:

  • Email: Your email address
  • Host/Server: smtp.office365.com
  • Port: 587 (usually)
  • Enable SSL: Yes

Gmail

You may need to set Google to allow your login from a 'less secure app'. This is basically any app that doesn't use two factor authentication, which is not possible for this kind of application. More details are here.

Set up with:

  • Email: Your email address
  • Host/Server: smtp.gmail.com
  • Port: 587 (usually)
  • Enable SSL: Yes

Your Company Server

You will need to check with your IT department or company, but it will be similar to this:

  • Email: Your email address
  • Host/Server: smtp.mycompany.com or mail.mycompany.com
  • Port: 587 (usually)
  • Enable SSL: Yes
